My friend/spin class addict/thrifting expert and fashion lover, NeShanta - voice behind style blog StyleIsShe, and I decided to show our love for thrifting in a new style series, Style Snatch. We will feature an outfit, NeShanta will do the thrifted version of the look and I will show the retailed version. Now because I love thrifting too, there is one piece in this look that is not retailed.
I love a utility jacket! I was lucky to get this one from a job a while back but the minute I saw it I knew it was something I needed in my wardrobe. Y'all know I add a lot of masculine elements to my look - so the fact that this was a men's jacket didn't shy me away. It's fun to balance slimmer silhouettes with something oversized. The weather has been a little confusing so skirts, long sleeve tees and utility jackets are all appropriate in one look.
I'm wearing a men's Gap jacket, Abercrombie & Fitch crop tee (thanks Khaliah), thrifted skirt that I cut and Forever 21 pumpsCheck out StyleIsShe to see how NeShanta styled her thrifted utility jacket.
