There has been a little madness in our city with the recent snow. People have been in traffic on the highway for 21 hours; schools and businesses have been closed for the last two days. But I've been at home enjoying time with my best friend - watching Girls, sledding and of course cooking.
Green beans have been one of my favorite vegetables to cook. One because you can do so much with them and two because they are really easy to make no matter the recipe. Last night I made this recipe and added some shiitake mushrooms in it as well. The recipe has great flavor and is really filling.
