When it comes to soups and salads people usually ask, "Do you want some broth with that soup?" or "Do you want some lettuce with that salad?" I've always been the type to add everything to my salad: vegetables, seeds, berries, so when people look at it the lettuce is buried under a mound of other toppings. Well, I like my soup the same way! So when I saw this recipe from Cooking Light I knew I wanted to try it. Like everything else I wanted to get some veggies out of the fridge so I add some asparagus and carrots to the pot. This soup was light, filling and delicious!
